What does this mean?

Hello all

I received an E-mail from USCIS to day, which says
My wife's Case Status Changed to
=======================================================
Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On March 15, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.
=======================================================
I doubt whether this is an approval!!!!!. What does this mean?. a RFE?.

Any help appreciated...

It seems to me approval, be hopeful

btw except 140 RD ...

ur case is similar as mine

like .. 140 approval is very close
485 ND close
FP......... is very close

everything is close.... now need to open doors of approval

It Means FP Notice

I got exact same message and it turned out to be FP notice, not GC 485 approval.

I am curious that is there any way to get plastic card without PP Stamping?? your signature did not say PP Stamping??

Did you ask them to expedite since your EAD/AP is expiring. I read elsewhere in the forum, some got approvals with expedite request.

Our 485's were approved on Mar 9th and also received the original approval notices.Last week I received a FP notice for biometrics and my attorney said that this is a new process for new applicants and is computer generated.And the lawyer said that, Since our 485's are approved we can ignore the notice.And the FP notice(for biometrics) also says this.

Now today, we received email saying this:

On March 23, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

Not sure what is this.....
