My I-140 is approved but I did not get an intimation of that.

My company got that and they gave a copy to me. Basically it said that "this is a coutesy copy to the company and the applicant will be notified when a decision is
made on the adjustment of status application(485)' ??

It may take upto 2yrs to get my 485 approved. Does it mean that I wont get a copy of
the i-140 approval notice until then??

OR does it mean that they may be currently processing my 485 and soon will hear a response from them for both 140 and 485.

Relax! Take a deep breath :)!

Congratulations on getting your I-140 approved...thats most important....notification and getting the copy or the coutsey copy is not that big of a deal when it comes to I-140. I-140 as you may or may not know is a company-specific petition and usually, the sponsoring company and/or the representing attorney will get the approval/Denial/RFE on the same.

I do not know what service center you are filed from....if your I-485 dates have gone past the posted date, it may mean that there is a good chance your case will be picked up for adjudication...this could be delayed however if the name checks and FBI clearances have not been completed...in the same way, there could be RFE generated if they need more information...hence, the blanket assignment of saying it could take upto 2 years...

Wondering if I can be optimistic that my 485 will also be soon approved? By the above sentence it looks like they might have also started the 485 processing and probably that's why they want to inform the applicant about 140 (&485) approvals together?

Did anybody have similar experience?

That is a normal message. I140 is a application for Immigrat Petition for Alien worker, who ever files for I140 definetly files for adjustment of status(485). That is why they were specifying about your 485.
