What Does This mean??

Hi,
My case was approved on April 27,
but my wife's case status did not change at that time,
she never got her 2nd FP notice.

But today i got mail from USCIS saying
Receipt Number: EAC02283xxxxx

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to
Adjust Status

Current Status:

On May 13, 2004 the appropriate American Consulate or port of entry was notified
by cable, telephone, or fax of the approval of this case.



What does this mean????
is the case approved?
we both applied for I485 together, and she has not travelled outside US since we filled for AOS.

any suggestions , insights ?

Unless you did consular processing, this is a temporary glitch, sit tight for a few days. Some of the more spiritual people on this forum might tell you that your wife's "approval is in the cards", based on the changing message. Maybe the nonsensical ones "trigger" faster approval.
