what does this mean to my case?

My lawyer called INS last week and the following is her message to me:

I have made several phone calls and the information officer keeps on telling me your case is with an Examiner.

DDoes this mean that my case has been assigned?

My RD is Oct 1 too and whenever I called IIO they said it is not yet assigned.

Don't belive what IIO's say I called 3 times got 3 diffrent answers, the last one said it will done in 2 weeks that is on Oct 28th. f* them and processing has come to an halt what ever they are doing is not good.

Thank you all your response, no matter what, this is indeed an encourage news to me since this is the first time I got the 'good' news from IIOs.:)

Hope is wondefful thing and it's the only thing we have for the current GC process.
