what does the status pending mean?

I just talked to my lawer and he said the my perm status is pending? what does it mean? What other status could have? Thanks
 
Pending means he has not submitted it yet. ASk him for your case number. Once submitted, your HR will receive a confirmation email from DOL and the case will reflect "In Process" Other states are "Certifed" "In Audit" and "Denied"
