What does the Nov. bulletin mean?

I just saw the November 2007 USCIS bulletin on processing times, and saw that the I485 employment applications for TSC have a processing time frame of 6 months. Last month, they said they were processing August 2006 applications. So what does 6 months mean - that they are processing applications received 6 months before today, i.e. around May 2007 time frame or does it mean something else? I am confused.

Also, my receipt date for I485 is Feb. 2007, my I140 is approved and my priority dates are current according to the DoS bulletins. So am I in the time frame for I485 adjudication? Should I enquire about being stuck in name check or is it still too early to ask?

Thanks!

YES

YES you should. I called today. My PD is march 07. The IO said it is already 60 days outside the processing time. So I can file a service request if I want. Also if you call you TSC, they will tell you about your namecheck etc.

Thanks!

Hope this helps.

I did the same as eb1a-query; opened a SR. You should too.

Hi,
I opened SR few months back (I was trying to call TSC IO using POJ but instead got connected to national benefits center which just opened up a SR).
My SR response said that my application is still within processing time.

No mention of name check, background check, etc. in SR.

Does that mean that my name check is cleared?

Also, when SR was opened, they asked for my postal address and modified it a little bit (since for my zip code, 2 cities come up). However, I asked that they DO NOT change the first address stated on my I-485. Should i worry that they changed it on the actual I-485 application?

Thanks.
