Hey guys,

What does 'Remanded to employer' mean? Please note this is not 'Remended to SESA'.

These applications are moved to ATL DOL some time back from FL-SESA and are non-IT related jobs and I don't think market conditions etc. are even an issue here. I heard this status message in ATL AVM.

Thanks in advance,

"Remanded to employer" usually related to advertisement issue. Most probably DOL is not satisfied with recruitment effort from your employer.

Your attorney will get detail(s) in mail from DOL. Also, attorney/employer can call DOL and find out the reason for "Remanded to employer".

Thanks usnycus...

I will have to wait to check this with the attorney for complete details... it is unfortunate that between attorney and employer cases get screwed up like this... Will post the exact reason here once I know. I am concerned as about 80% of cases moved to ATL DOL in a span of 2 weeks are remanded to employer other 20% are certified. My application is still at FL-SESA and may be processed in next 2 months, may be I can do some thing to avoid the same situation....

Thanks again,

"REMAND TO STATE" for California DOL means Case has been sent back to SWA for processing as NON RIR, One can keep the Old PD but has to go thru all the NON RIR related Processing again, Not sure same is for you as you are in ATL
