What does "Resumed" AVM mean?

Latest hoopla is all about that !!!!

There are at least a couple of latest threads talking about this message for the past two weeks. Why don\'t you spend a little time reading this forum before posting a new thread?

Do u have the answer???

Firsly, if you cannot give or have an answer "DONOT REPLY".

I must have devoted/spent more time with this Forum than You must have. Lets not take it further. No arguments.

Again, my question remains the same ???

Well I am not sure if it necessarliy means that the case is assigned
to an officer. All it means is that they received all the reports. Has any one who got their AVM updated talked to IIO and checked if it means that the case is assigned. It is not clear from the previous threads.

here are my thoughts ....

I was looking at couple of approvals on this board and most of these guys have got their AVM updated with new mesg " FP Collected and processing resumed " ...on 12/29 & Interestingly , these folks have got approval on 1/4 .

I am a optimistic and assume that once the AVM has changed means ...." case is also assigned to Officer " .

I read somewhere that s.singh talked to IIO on Dec 29th and was told that his case was not yet assigned. Any talking about getting the approval in i week, the case was probably assigned earlier. But AVM was updated en masse. This probably doesnot mean that for all the folks , reports were only received on DEc 29th. My two cents. Anyway,
any one who got the AVM updated on Dec 29th and talked to IIO recently can post here.

If you had spent more time

probably you would have posted your message in the already existing thread which was created to discuss this. Creating many new threads for the same issue makes it difficult for everyone to discuss and keep track of it.

Anyways I\'m out of it now....no hard feelings though.....all the best to get your approval....

I am inclined to agree with you azcowboy0071, however....

unless at least a few people get confirmation from IIO\'s after AVM changed from "Pending" to "Resumed" that their case has been assigned to an officer, we cannot say for sure that "Resumed" means assigned to an Officer. Until that happens the only safe assumption is that "Resumed" means that your all agency check reports have come in and that your case is adjudication-ready.
The fact that so many people saw AVM change on 12/29 and then got approvals in the first week of January leads me to believe that their cases had already been assigned for adjudication prior to AVM change. They probably made a change in process where they identified all cases that had gotten all agency check reports completed and then did a batch update of their AVM messages.
