What does processing time Oct-30 means?

To my understanding...
when they say they are processing October 31st means they are processing all applications UP TO that date instead of from that date.
you are pretty close to the end. the next time--hopefully soon--they will say they are processing up to Nov. 15.

just a minor detail
Its actually 10/30. which is probably what the thread-starter intended I guess.
daa2: it means INS "officially" is processing all apps upto 10/30.
From past experience that only shows the bulk of approvals but there may be many approvals beyond that date.

Ok, now it is UP TO 10/30/01.
Are they going to assign next batch from now on? I am not yet clear on this, because next processing time they will publish probably will be 11/15, so I would guess they will assign next batch from today? Or maybe they will assign next batch only when they publish new processing time? I hate to ask this but have been waiting too long, like this winter, seems never end.
