Hi,

My employer told me that I have a PD of 09/17/2002 and a case number 161xxx. What does this means? How many dates/cases I should have to get my LC (for IT)?.

I am in California.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Labor Processing Times in California Due to 245i Part7

CWhite,
As suggested by aaaone its good for you to participate in "Labor Processing Times in California Due to 245i Part7" thread.

On the other hand, PD is what dictates your eligibility to apply for I-485. Right now it does not matter as all categories (EB2/EB3) are current.

It also means your application is in SESA and you can estimate your state labor approval time. Right now CA is processing cases from received with PD of Nov '01. Once you get your state labor (SESA/SWA), it will be forwarded automatically to DOL at SF, which is now processing cases forwarded to them on Jan '02.

Also, every thing I said above is true only if you are RIR category. Non-RIR is real messy in CA.

Hope this helps!.
