what does it means code 2 & code 3 in biomatrics letter?

Hi Guys.

What does it means code 2 & code 3 in biomatrics letter?

I got a biomatrics letter from ins and need a finger print for biomatrics.
I had done my first finger prinr last oct,2004 with my wife & 2 sons but they send the letters for me ,2 sons(one is 16 years old and the other is 11 years old this time) except my wife at this time.

I am confused
1.why they don't send letter for my wife?
2. Does 11 years son need a finger print( schedule is different each other)?
3. what does it mean code 2 & code 3?
4. no LUD change in my case after they sent it out biomatrics letter.Why?

Is this good news? I am still waiting my I-485 approval since last april,2004.

Biometrics

Getting biometrics notice is a good news. This is a new process USCIS introduced recently.

CODE 1 means: 10 finger prints

CODE 2 means: Index finger print + Photo + signature

CODE 3 means: CODE 1 + CODE 2.

When your I-485 approved, then your card will come very soon. Even kids also will get the biometrics notice. My 7 year old daughter got it today.
