What does it mean?

Hi Gurus,

I did my FP on Dec.21 along with my family and our cases were updated online today, Dec.23 (It takes only 2 days.) What does the following message mean? Does it mean our FPs have been cleared by FBI in 2 days and returned to USCIS?


Current Status:

On December 23, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your
I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

USCIS has received clearence on your FP from FBI and processed has been resumed. its a good sign. Nothing to worry. no wait for your approval!

My status was showing the same message posted above, but after enquiry it changed to the stndard status enquiry message like ...

we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. ....

Now do I just need to wait, or what else they would be doing with my case...

Is there any other check which delays my 485 approval

Hi Nathang,

Yeah, I enquired before about my 485 as my RD was jan 2004 and priority date was nov, 2001.

is my name check cleared...? I was having the same messge (posted first in this thread) and later, after enquiry, changed to the one posted just above.
