What does 140 Approval Look like

Hello Gurus

Excuse this stupid question, but I got my papers via an FOIA and I was not sure if the 140 approval looks like the labor's FINAL determination or its just on the form itself ?

Can someone please let me know how this looks ? - Even the form number would be helpful.

It just looks like any other petition...
Like H1b1 Approval
140 receipt notice
485 receipt notice.....bla bla bla

The content will change depending on the petition type .

But stupid question

Why did you get the papers via an FOIA ?

Because my company does not release the 140 Info to me, so I applied for an FOIA. I knew my 140 was approved ( as they told me) but had no conclusive proof or case to verify this

I checked my papers and I dont have a approval notice but the 140 application shows it as approved and so does the case status online

Might be they wont give in FOIA request.

You have various options,

Either you can get from the company a true copy.

or

From attorney, Attorny will also recieve a Courtesy copy, which looks like original but actually not. Ask you attorny to fax the courtesy copy atleast if you need.

It is form I-797. All the approvals come in same notice. only petition type will be different.
