Hi all,

We got our I-485 approved last week and would like to go for stamping to San Jose this Friday (have appointment). I am getting contradictory advice on what paperwork one needs to take during stamping.

Could someone who has completed stamping please confirm what documents they took?

Thanks,
Sunnybell

approval letter
ADIT photo (one is enough but take two)
passport (should not be expiring soon... 1 year) and I-94
all old APs
all old EADs
Drivers License

i am not sure about the whether 1 photo is enough. they took two from me even though my passport was valid for 5 yrs

They take 2 ADIT photos. That is what the approval notice also specified. Hence take 2 ADIT photos, if they want only one that would fine. Better safe and prepared than sorry.

I got my passport stamping at SF. I carried all the old EADS/AP/H1B papers. When the lady asked for old documents including I-94. I just gave only latest EAD/AP and approval notice. She filled the form for us and asked to put signature and right index finger print and asked for 2 ADIT style photos. Later she put stamp in our passports.

Thanks

Thanks for all your responses. The reason why I was asking is becoz we always got 2 copies of AP - one courtesy and one original....and somehow one original AP (2003) has gone missing. :-(

I was just hoping that I can get away without it.

I have all my EADs and all other documents as you guys have suggested.

Did anybody need old expired AP during stamping?

Thanks a lot,
Sunnybell
