What documents to send to Parents??

hello all,

Need some advice on what docs to send for parents.

Our 485 petitions have been pending with INS/BCIS from Nov 2001. Currently on EAD/AP and no H1 time. We are planning on getting our parents here for a visit and want to know what documents to send?

immihelp documents are enuf. But make sure you get the visa appointment sooner. I tried to get appointment for my mom @ chennai, India consulate in April and available date was July 2nd.

Good news is, she succeefully stamped her visa on July 2nd and they gave her 1 year?!? visa even though its her second time visiting USA. The only question there was about the copy of my passport as I didnt send copy of all the pages.

Hi

Do send all the usual stuff, Look for the current docs from the us embassy site. Since my parents went through dorp box and they had to go back twice , once due to the pic was not on white background and second time, they said the form was expired eventhough the form said valid until Aug 2004

Also get an Employment verification letter, your current bank statement, your birth certificate, copies of passport.

With all these it takes 2 to 3 weeks in chennai drop box
