I am currently developing a business and do odd jobs to pay the bills. Business is not making any money and l am living with my parents. If I win the dv lottery 2010, what financial documents do I have to provide at the interview?

3-year Income Tax Returns? What If my income is very low for two years while I am working on my business compared to my past engineering income?

How many months of pay stub?

What minimum balance should I always have to show, to prove I can financially support myself when I enter US? And how long back do they check for this minimum balance?

Do I have to have a fulltime job to be safely pass the interview?

Hello anyone?

What financial documents I need present in the interview?
1) 3 months of bank statemeny? (Yes, No)
2) 3 years of income tax return? (Yes, No)
3) What is the minimum balance in need to show in my bank account, USD $50,000?
4) 3 months of pay stub? (Yes, No)

This type of question is asked every week.
Please do some research.

Here is my post, but it's old now, and some links have been changed.

Otherwise:
1) 3 months of bank statement? (Yes, No)
That could help as proof of your own funds (401k, IRA, other assets including house,...). Get a letter from your bank on their letterhead with date you opened account,...
2) 3 years of income tax return? (Yes, No)
In theory not needed. But as mentioned in my posts, some people have been asked for them, while others have not (I wasn't for example). For your own piece of mind, just bring them if you filed.
3) What is the minimum balance in need to show in my bank account, USD $50,000?
Check the poverty guidelines on the USCIS website.
4) 3 months of pay stub? (Yes, No)
Yes and No. Get a letter from your current employer or offer of employment to show that you have a mean to care for yourself.

I have a dumb question about that: Is it supposed to be a balance on the bank account when the bank statement is edited or is it the yearly salary? I don't really understand how much should earn my sponsor versus how much should he own on a saving account.
On the poverty guidelines requirements, it says:
"You must show that your household income is equal to or higher than 125 percent of the U.S. poverty level for your household size."
By income, I still understand salary (yearly), Am I wrong?
