What documents needed when entering using AP into USA?

Hi,
I would like to know what are the documents that are needed for one to enter US using Advance Parole?

I recently travelled on AP and was only asked for the following documents upon entering US :

- AP Document
- Passport
- Driver's License (not sure why though ?)

The officer stamped my AP document, I had three AP documents, he stamped all three of them and took one.
