What documents do I need to file for green card?

Hi,

I am still waiting for my wife citizenship. She is waiting for the interview and then the oath. So, I thought I should prepare my documents so I can file right after her citizenship. Currently, I am on H1B and need to know what documents to file for my green card.

I think it is I485 for green card but what is the document for EAD. Can anyone please provide links so I can read more about the process?

I am a little confused! My wife will be citizen in few months so what documents do I need precisely. Do we have to file I130 or I485? Keeping in mind she is citizen!

mazam, the above referenced Step-by-Step guide at Visa Journey is in fact particular to spouses of US citizens. You'll be an immediate relative and as such able to file I-130 and I-485 concurrently. There's little "official" guidance that sums the entire process up; but you can go through I-130 and I-485 instructions, which reference other forms and instructions, and literally piece together and verify the correctness of info in the Step by Step guide.
