What dates are mentioned in the Tourist/B Visa - Issue, Expiry, Entry ??
I read in the threads that typically there are two dates on the visa - issue date and expiration date. Latter can be between 1 month to 10 years and dictates when you can enter into US. Duration of stay is decided at POE. So far so good ! Now I have following questions -
1. Can applicants travel anytime after visa issue date ( regardless of what you entered in DS 156 form) ?
2. I read one thread where it mentions that in the visa they got, there are ADDITIONAL DATES mentioned in annotations. Specifically it says "first travel will be on January 10th 2005 and will be for 3 months only". Anyone else had a similar experience ?
3. Given the above scenario is the Jan 10th 2005 date based on what you enter in DS 156 ?
