Hi ... i have another similar situation. I applied and finger printed for RTD. But i received a mail yesterday, requiring me to pay $385 for application and biometric fee. I did not include the check during my application because the instruction in page 8 says "if you applied for I-485 on or after July 30, 2007 and paid application fee required, then no fee is required to file a request for RTD. So, i would assume when i adjust my status to PR i have paid the fee. I don't understand why USCIS still requires me to pay for it. I called up the office twice, no direct answer was given, the operator doesn't quite sure what is the answer and asked me to seek an attorney..sigh!
Do anyone came across this issue, or is there any thread that discuss about this? Please direct me to the correct please. I bought my air ticket next year March 2011. Need my RTD quite urgent.
