What date is used for processing RD or ND

Thank you. So even though my RD is in Jan if My ND is in feb, I have to consider my case as Feb right. Then what is the date the AVM tells. I mean when I check the AVM it says, Your application is recieved on 24 th Jan is it ND or RD.

Banu!, My PD is March 97 and I did not apply my 485 until December 2000.
Mine is EB2, India.
Whether they process by PD OR ND? I Read somewhere in this site that they process by PD.

Two months ago, I asked an IIO this very question . INS processes 485 by RD and not ND. First they check the RD and then they check your PD.

Actually, I think they pull the cases by RD and begin looking at the cases by the ND (I think they check if INS is procesing the 485s for that ND month) and then look at PD is current or not. Hope this helps
