What could be the RFE

All,

I am using approved labor and filed my I140 and I485. My I140 was approved in June'05. I also finished my FP (Code 3) in June. Today my I485 status changed with the message

"On August 30, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service "

I submitted all the legal status papers (All H1 and H4 approvals), All w-2's for my whole 6 years, Birth Certificates and also we went throgh all Vaccination process. No address change request has been made. What else could be the RFE about ? Will it be related to my labor substitution ? Also who will recieve the RFE ? Me or my attorney ? Any help will be appreciated. Also there is no LUD on my Wife 485. The message on her still stays " We received ....."

The message that you see on your online status is not for RFE. This message shows up when someone makes an inquiry on his/her case. Did you or your lawyer inquire about your case lately? The RFE message states something to this effect "On 31st August we mailed you a notice requesting additional information regarding your case. Blah Blah Blah."

So do not worry, it is most likely not an RFE.

I called them yesterday

I called them y'day about the status. I received this email with in 5 minutes after the call. I never realized TSC could act that fast.
