What Can We Do ??

• India Eb2 Stand still from last 3 months
• India EB3 is moving like a snail!!
• is all the numbers eaten up or is it TOO CAUTIOUS APPROCH
• no body knows exatctly
• CIR is stand still!! no hope of this until atleast another 6 months

What can we do?

• Send faxes and emails to Ombudsman,DOJ to find exactly WHATS HAPPENING
• How can we get correct Information?

We really can't do anything other than try to move on with our day to day lives without letting this GC process getting to us. We will get the GC only when we are destined to get it. There is nothing we can do to make this process faster.

GBU.....I am in a different boat(EB3-Aug-05, and EB1-Jun-06).....and i can just throw away all of it and start over again......(even though the very thought makes me scream that life is a f***ing bitch....)
i know people who are waiting before 2003 do not have that option...

but to tell you the fact thats the best way to go....not pin your plans on this process and just wait it out.....

frankly speaking i do not have much hopes in we being able to do a lot.....but on the positive side i do have some hope from IV ....thanks to their efforts we may get something(but the problem is we may get nothing in next six months.....and maybe something in 2-3 years....if the efforts are continued.....)

That is a a very passive approach to take, Saras. I am sure you have visited IV. CIR is stuck for now while the Repubs and the Democrats duke it out, but we are exploring other approaches, like Cornyn's SKIL bill.

In my view I think we should not spend our time lobbying or worrying about CIR. Our chances are on the SKIL bill.

I am sorry if I sound to passive. IV is doing a great job and I wish you guys luck. I am mentally drained with this process and do not have the will to waste more of my energy on it. I am trying to harness more of my resurces towards leading a better life without the GC.

Pardon my pessimism , I don't believe IV can do much, I commend the effort but at this point I don't see them influencing major bills like CR any furthur.Its one thing to include a few clauses in the CR but its beyong their reach to get this passed in the house.They don't have the money or the political muscle to do this.
I am with Saras, on just chill and enjoy life, GC will come if and when it has to come.Don't waste your time, money and energy.

I can understand your feelings and I share that too. We can not do much to change this situation for atleast few months from now. I would try to keep myself minimum from expenses and try to avoid corridors of law offices, BCIS and any other organizations for now.

even though i agree that there is not much we can do in the short term.........but i am sure if we get the right number of members(around 50k)....there can be magic....and we may all get a relief..

that said....if we do not try....i am very sure we cannot make any difference....but you have to start somewhere.....and i totally support IV for taking up this cause.....my only concern is will they keep growing and keep trying or we will all give up.....
