I applied Green Card by National Interest Waiver on Feb/2001, however, it got denied on Feb/2002 after asking for more info.

My lawyer does nothing except collecting money, my case was send to Administration petition office in May/2002. He said there is nothing he can do during the time except for waiting...

and I have waited for so long.

I wonder if there is anything I can do... I am really frustrated right now. I wonder if I can apply through outstanding status as I am working as faculty in a medical school right now using H1B. If so, I would like to do it myself this time...

Any suggestion is highly appreciated, thank you!

Sure, you can apply for EA. Use a different lawyer.
