What can happen to GC-holder convicted of Class 1 Misdemeanor?(assault & battery)

If a greencard-holder is convicted of Class 1 Misdemeanor
for Assault & Battery, what will happen to him/her? He/she
punched a friend once in the upper body, during a verbal
dispute about something. The victim had no bruises or
anything. The judge imposed a fine of $55 with a 30-day
sentence(but suspended, so no jail time).

Can he/she be detained by ICE and eventually deported?
On the other hand, if he/she is an undocumented alien,
what will happen? (since I'm only 95% sure that he/she
actually has a greencard)

Thanks!

If the person is a GC holder, s/he should be fine. I think a person maybe deported only when put in jail for more than 1 year or 2 ( can't remember).

But if the person is an undocumented alien, the story can be different.
