What can be done while waiting for PERM PW?

What can be done while waiting for PERM PW?

I am entering 6 th year of my H1B in about 70 days from now. We are applying for PW this week. Shoud I wait till we receive PW? Or can we do other things such as advts etc?

Please advise me the best way to do the things, so that I will be able to file PERM labor in the time I have.

Steps while waiting for PW

Hi!
I am in a similar situation too. Waiting for PW and entering 6th yr of H1 in 90 days. You can go ahead and do the advertising and the other recruiting steps without waiting for the prevailing wage. You do not need to mention the salary in any of these steps. The only place where you will need the PW is the job posting in your office. PW can take anywhere from a week to over a month depending on the state. My PW was filed on Apr. 12th in CA and i still do not have any info.

This means we can go ahead and file job order, give advts,complete recruitments. This saves lot of time. We are filing PW in florida.

PERM waiting

File job order with SWA. Advertise and recruit. That's a great way to spend the time while waiting for the PW.
