Immigration law gurus,
1) What are the circumstances under which INS will grant a 2 year returning resident permit? Will the INS grant it for any and every flimsy reason just because one asked for it or does it have strict conditions only under which a RR permit will be granted?
2) Is there a numerical limit on how many times a RR permit can be granted to an individual in his life time?
3) After once spending 2 years outside the US with an RR permit and returning back to the US, is there a certain period of time one has to spend in the US before he becomes eligible for another RR permit?
Thanks.
