I'm sure this has been answered before - but any updates would be appreciated. My wife went to see an information officer at Boston USCIS and was told that our I-485 is undergoing background checks. Now what are the checks that we know about?
1. Fingerprint: We submitted our second prints on July 8 - and we know they have been cleared.
2. Namecheck: It was cleared once in Nov 2003 - would they run it again after we came from priority date oblivion?
3. IBIS: Could it be this one? How long does this one take?
