My I-140 has been approved under EB2(NIW). In my I-140 I mentioned that I would do CP. The notice says I am not eligible for AOS and they sent my file to NVC.
I called up NVC but they do not have my file yet.
My question are
1_Should I wait for NVC letter for CP?
2_Should I go ahead and file I-485?
3_Should I call up NVC and let them know that I want to file I-485 and not CP?
What I learned from this and other forum that if I mentioned CP on my I-140 then I can file I-485 ASAP but if I mentioned AOS on my I-140 then I need to file a form to change it to AOS.
I did mentioned CP means that I can file I-485.
Why did they say I am not eligible for AOS and need CP?
Any ideas/help/answer is appreciated.
