What are my options ? 9 Months left on H1 to complete 6 Years

I am finishing my 6 years in about 9 months from now. My attorney screwed up my Labor process and she informed me that she has filed my Labor in Nebraska about 4 months back. Now upon Inquiring I came to know that she has not filed my petition. So I have no record of filing labor petition in Nebraska or anywhere else. Can you guys please advise me what options I have if want to stay here?

Apply LC from Faster States if you can find any employer there who is ready to do it.

file a lawsuite against that attorney for damages.

file another labor.

report about that attorney to the bar council.

See if you can find an employer who will file your LC immediately in a state where LC processing is fast. And be ready to file for I140/485 as soon as it gets cleared.

Or u can try to find a company which has an approved LC and are willing to do a LC substitution for u. That way also u can file for I-140/485 immediately.

The point is - you have to file for I-485 before your H-1 period expires. THat is the only legal way you can maintain status.
