What are all the options available after I-485 denied for some reason ?

Guys,

Can you please post what are all the options available after 485 denied for some reason. Some of my thoughts are below...correct me if anything wrong.

Options:

1. Motion to Reopen
Any idea how soon we need to file Motion to Reopen

2. Continue to work with unexpired H1-B
If not started working on EAD and H1-B is not expired. Is it right?



Questions:
Q1. How to maintain legal status?
Q2. If we are working on EAD and also have unexpired H1-B, can we go back to H1-B status ? If spouse also started working on EAD, will she go back to H4 ?

I just browsed VSC's thread and found the following info.

MTR￾@needs to be filed within 30 days of the denial notice date.
You may want to request the whole case file from BCIS at the same time. Read the following link.

I'm not sure about the other option and your questions.
