What all information does AVM have ??

Hi folks,

My ND is nov 1/2000 EB2 -india.

I see many oct 2000 approvals. So I tried calling AVM first time last week, it is saying \'ur 485 appln is received on blah blah\'. My question is what all information does AVM have ?? ie if the case is assigned to officer, does it say it or it only gets updated after the approval ??
I am hoping that my case must have been atleast assigned to the officer. Should I need to talk to IIO to confirm that ?? When is the best time to get that line during working hours ??

Help will be highly appreciated.

Call early morning. VCS\'s working hours 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Call them morning you have better chance to get through.

no , AVM will only tell receipt, REF or Approval of Case(or worst case denial)

other than these three situations, nothing will report in AVM
you have to call IIO ( real officer ) during business hour
to find out your case status. like whether it\'s assigned.
