I appreciate the information that I've received from people on this site, and the curteous attitudes of people on here.

Currently, my mom is a permenenant resident that is about to file for her naturilization. What I want to know is what we can do to make sure that her case is processed as quickly as possible.

Here is the info.

1. N-400 form filled.
2. Check for $400 (A# written back on check/in the memo field)
3. 2 colour photos (Photo paper should be good as you need to write your Name and A# written on back with pencil)
4. photocopies of front and back side of Green Card.

Process map for whole process is the attachment...

I got the all the above info from previously posted questions...

Thanks. When you put A #, you mean application number right?

What about the name checks, what is that about ? I've heard several people talking about problems with that lengthining your N-400.

It's a clearance (actually some are calling it Name Check or Name Clearance) from FBI. USCIS requests this to FBI after the FP are taken. It's, at least for now, something beyond your control, and you don't need to worry about it. Hopefully, your mother will get her name cleared fast, not like many of us here, who are waiting for months and years. :)
To make you feel better, I can tell you that the odds not to get stuck in the Name Clearance process are 99%

I've gotten the picture for the last 3 years and 2 months that I've been waiting for my petition to be approved.
