Hello Gurus,
I had initiated 1st status inquiry on my pending I-485 and on Nov 29, 2005 got a letter saying that they would respond by 45 to 60 days.
So today (1/31/2005) I called 800-375-LATE and asked about 485 status.
She was says that the case is pending and part of my name check is completed ?? what doesthis mean ???
I asked her if my name check is completed and that is what I got from her ???
What does she mean part of name check is completed ?? she also says that the check is in process ?
What all checks do they do? FP1 resuts were also recvd by INS.
I know that I am screwed by the retrogression, but she never said that my case was not adjudicated becos of the retrogression, but because of the checks ???
But she said that my part of the name check is done ???
Gurus any inputs would be appreciated...
