If paspport stamp is gone and green card take one year to arrive,
then it means you can not find a job within one year from
I485 approval.

If your SSN card has no legend, then you are lucky and you
can get around this, otherwise you are stuck.

It also means that getting a SSN card without legend
is very important in case you lose your green card

Yup. That's why I think there has to be some kind of replacement...

and in many states, you can not apply for or renew your driver
license.

PRs in their first year will be more miserable than illegals.
