What a screwed-up TSC

Although I got my FP notice and did early FP, I just want to point out how screwed-up TSC can be. My online message never changed, it is still "We received your application ... ...". So the FP notice in the mail is a total surprise. I called them and ask about my wife's FP. They said they show no record they've even sent FP to me. I said I don't know what to say, I just received it. I want them to check my wife's. Of course, they couldn't do anything because of the processing date.

Here is the thing - what if the FP notice did get sent out and lost in the mail? INS has no record of sending it out and we never received any. This will directly lead to denial.

Don't know how they manage their system ...

Everybody knows that.

Not only TSC but all the service centers are like this. They don't now change the status when an FP notice is sent out.

The 800 number? hahaha.... They know less than what you already know. What you see in the Online Case status is exactly what they see and nothing more. I guess they work off of the same url that we use to check our case status online :) .
I look at 800 number as another way of checking your case status, in case you don't have access to the internet

Those guys don't know anything more than you know.

The FP is scheduled seperately and they have not access to that either.

I had called them about my 2nd FP, they said same bullsh*t to me that it will be scheduled when your case is reviewed. When I went home, I saw I had recieved the FP notice in mail.

Try to take your wife when you go for your FP. Sometimes they let you FP. Worth giving a try.

Good luck

Hi,

The people who answer the phone have access only to the same computer information you have access to. They are simply there so that you can vent your anger at them and not send a fax or mail to TSC. If you do send an inquiry by mail, your chances are far improved.

The system said that TSC recieved my repsonse to an RFE. TSC admitted that they never even sent an RFE to me or my lawyer in the first place. Regardless of that, the message remained screwed up like this for 2 years, even after my fingerprints were completed, until my case got transferred to Miami this May. The online message is useless, and so are the reps on the 1-800 line.
