We've got I-797 Notice of Action for my mom, what's next?

Hello,

My sister has submitted I-130 for my mother while she's in the United States and she was in status. However, when we got the approval (I-797 Notice of Action) my mother was out of status (I-94). So, can we apply for Adjustment of Status for her while she's in the United States taking into consideration that she's currently out status?
And what's next to do?

Thanks!

Correction: she CAN file for adjustment of status now, since she is an immediate relative of a US citizen.

if your sister is an American citizen, your mother can still adjust her status even if she is out of status because she's in the immediate relative category.

Thanks a lot guys, yes, my sister is a U.S Citizen. So, what about instructions in the I-485 that say she can't if she's out of status? (Section 10 D)?

And what's the next step from now?!! We want to do it by ourselves?

Appreciate your help!
