Just want to share some experience with you guys about the experience we went to Charlotte INS to request a FP. The lady who assigned the waiting number to us is nice but she said they usually do not do this. She still gave us the number to allow us a chance to talk to immigration officer about the status of our case. Later, we got a chance to talk to the immigration office but she just tell us that they can not do this and if we have question about our case we should contact TSC instead of local INS.
She pulled out our case information but not too much information from there except showing the case is pending. Hope this will help other folks...
