welcome notice

Is this usual...........my wife received her welcome notice today; but I've not. any cause to worry, does this affect issuance of the actual card??

should I call the local office (where our case was transferred and approved) or Nebraska??

That indicates you are NOT welcome!


Actually most of the people don't get welcome notice (I never did). It's perfectly fine. And it does not affect your plastic card or whatsoever.
