Welcome letter and card production ordered

I know it's somewhat dumb question, but... If you get approved AFTER the interview what's gonna happen? Will the status be "approved" or something else? Some people here on forum said they got on-line status as "Welcome Letter mailed", some are talking about "card production ordered" email. So what exactly is happening in case of approval?

You'll get a letter stating that your application was approved and then you'll get the card in the mail. The online status will also be updated. You are a PR as of the date of approval, you just can't travel on it unless you have the physical card or passport stamp. An employer might not accept the letter as proof either, although they have the option to as long as they see the card soon enough after the hire date.
