I applied for work permit four weeks ago based on a pending asylum application. 1 week later my lawyer received notice of reipt of my application from USCIS but until today I have not received any notice of recipt of my application. I have checked the address that I put down on my application and that is my correct address. Should I be starting to worried about this issue?

It usually takes around 3 months. How long have you been waiting?

I did do my asylum and my EAD through my lawyer and as far as I remember he got all the Receipt Notices and sent copies to me and so my advice is to check and see if he/she has received it before worrying otherwise they will send the card to you when processed.

Colombian PR: I am aware that it usually takes 3 months on processing BUT I have not been received the initial notice of receipt of application and only my lawyer did receive it.
huni98: In the previous times I received all notices as well as my lawyer (notices such as interview date and assylum application recipt). This is the only time when only my lawyer received notice and not me. That is why I was worried.
