Weird AOS interview question

I was speaking with a girl that went through an i485 AOS interview last week. (She is married to a US Citizen). At the interivew, the IO asked her husband(US Citizen) the names of his relatives that live in the US. The IO wrote all the names of her husbands realtives. Just their names, not their addresses nor their phone numbers. She said they have not heard anything from USCIS after the interview.

I was very surprised about the question that her husband was asked. Does anyone in this forum have the same interview experience? I could not think of a reason why the IO would ask this question.

Its simply a question to test if the marriage is real. I was also asked the names of my in-laws. They're just trying to catch you out to see if you're faking the marriage.

But the guy was not asked to name his in laws, he was asked to name his own relatives. Like his brothers, sisters. That is what makes it weird.

Okay....

 Hi:

I think the officer was constipated by stupidity. Unless of course, he wanted to call them, which will and is illegal... .

You have no need to be concerned about being asked that question, but you better be prepared about your case. Oh... lest you be asked what is the name of your neighbor and what car he drives :D

You friend doesn't need to be concerned about being denied...;) Interviewing Officer when unsupervised have a tendency to act like douchebags...

Hi:

It is rather confounding. Similarly, at our interview, my wife was asked to identify the maid of honor in the set of pictures we brought, and I was asked to identify the best man. Who knows!
