Weekend Fingerprint & Interview

Hello,

If I received FP Notice on a weekdays but then I prefer weekend, can I just walk in on any weekend or I should request the USCIS to reschedule it for me? If I can save some times by walk-in FP, I'd rather do that then call/mail letter to USCIS for reschedule.
Please advice.

Second question: do they offer weekend interview?

I had my FP scheduled at Chicago ASC for Saturday 26th Sept, but I had to go somewhere so I did a walk in this past Tuesday (22nd Sept).
 
Give it a try if the weekday appointment doesn't work for you. Worse thing that can happen to you is that they say no, or come back later on the day.

Not too long ago there was a news bulletin on the USCIS website -I cannot find it right now- saying that the application support centers doing fingerprints would go back to a Mon - Fri schedule. Before you show up for FP on Sat as a walk in, you'd better check to see if the center will even be open. In addition, some centers aren't all that happy with walk ins to begin with.
One thing you need to learn in this process is to be patient and accept the USCIS rules. You have barely filed and you are already looking to bend the rules your way.
