I have noticed this message change for both me and my spouse on June 21st. Also I noticed lot of other folks got the similar message change in their status this week and read different opinion on this. I am wondering is this rfe or something else.
All of the people who received this similar message could you please post on this thread and also update if you or your attorney receive any info on this from CSC in coming weeks. It will be helpful to track on this "new" kind of status change. Thanks.

I got RFE on that day too

Hi, my online status changed on 7/21/04 too and it said the RFE was sent on 7/20/04, but both my lawyer and me did not receive it yet. Compared to other applications, this is slow and strange to me since I am living very near CSC... What happens? The RFE came 3 weeks after my 2nd FP...
 
I have also recieved email with the same message last week and my attorney says it could be FP. I am still waiting for mail.

I got the same message today and I quote:
On April 5, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
my LUD has changed to 7/26/04. What the hell is going on? :confused:

"On May 21, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

In my case this happens to be the same date that BCIS responded to my law firm's inquiry into my case. Am not sure if this is realted to that.

In an unrealted event - I had talked to an IIO about my case on Friday (7/23/04)

Really confused if this is an update of the database a few months late or what.

I got following email from USC:

On July 14, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case.* If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.


I don't know what is it ? Is it RFE? Hope to get something in mail.

Might be due to FAX inquiry

I called NSC few days ago and sent FAX inquiry. I recvd. a letter few days ago stating it may take longer to process my case. Then this email regarding "NEW" status. This may be related to FAX inquiry.

I got an email stating the following today. I called my lawyer and she said that the INS may be having serious email problems :-) several of her clients including me have received such notices... weird!

One guy had his approval last week and he got this message today says my lawyer... man this is so screwed up!

Just got the same message an hour ago.

I got the same message an hour ago.

It says "On May 28, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.".

In my case, May 28, 04 happens to be the day an officer called my attorney informing her that my case had been forwarded to FBI for Name Check.

The message changed on status is related to the reply CSC sent on inquiry about my case and I recieved letter from CSC yesterday saying that my FP has expired and they would reschedule FP in another 30 days.
