We received approval emails today..

All:

Just wanted to share with you that we got ( me & my spouse) got
our approval emails just like half hour ago. I got like 40 emails
(20 each & some from USCIS and some from CRIS). Here are our details:

RIR Approved in 2003 September
I140 ND 9/15/03 AD 9/10/04
I485 EB3 INDIA PD 2/02 ND 4/13/04 TD 11/23/04 Dallas,TX AD 6/24/05

I wonder how the cases that got transferred to Dallas,TX, office
got approved without interview :confused:

Congratulations! God Bless You and your family. Be always gratefull, because you made it right before the TSUNAMI!!! I mean the visa backlog that's going to hit us all that remain hear (stuck in burocracy world) hard very hard....

I am grateful to God and every human being that wished & wishes my
wellbeing.

I am just wondering what is the next step? Should I fix an infopass
appointment to get the passport stamped (after receiving the approval
notice)?

Anyone, please let me know.

Do it right now!!!! schedule your infopass. I've learned from this forum everyone schedules hoping to get approval notice (in couple of days) before appointment. Remember, worst case scenario you cancel that app. and make new one. But it's better to be READY!!!!
 
Holy crap..

Holy crap... I got appt for 7/5/05; when I tried to get appt for my
wife, the system said NO appts available :confused:

Should it be okay if we go with only one appt? The Office I am
trying to go is at 8101 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas,TX.

Anybody throw some light?

Howdy_howdy Yes, that is something weird with the infopass thing... this is what you can do (worked for me) is in the meantime keep trying for your wife too [try weird hours] and you will probably get it for her sometime (and days) later to yours, of course...
Now go armed with that on the day of your own appointment (with of course your wife and her papers etc) and try and talk with the guy there when they call your name. [The security guards etc. at the gates will generally let you both go thru on just your one appointment; (cause processwise they require one appointment for each person), but with of course the clear understanding that it is completely on the discretion of the officer inside]

Well, to make a long story short; I had the same problem and tried it that way(with nothing to lose except for probably another visit another day for the spouse) and They did it for us at the same time...(of course, might also depend on his/her mood, the backlog and rush that day) but should work.

We just got ours stamped today on my appointment alone! Yaaaaaaaaa!!! :)

:D :D Smle and Don't panic Howdy, :D

Printout two copies of ur infopass :D , or photcopy it and give ur spouse to hold it one copy , the Family is not required seperate infopass.

A. No. If there is more than one person in the immediate family (husband, wife, children) that needs service, only one member of the family actually needs an INFOPASS appointment.

I'm glad you got your app. It seems many people are having trouble getting an infopass app lately. I hope you get your notice in mail real soon, so you can have peace of mind.
Keep us posted with your pp stamping and then the greatest day of all : your GC in your mailbox!!!!!!
