We need a new subforum "NAME CHECK"

Everyday I see more people just waiting for their name check to be cleared and I include myself. I already sent e-mail inquery, I'm not sure about FOIPA, could someone that already did it and get positive responses, I mean someone that use FOIPA to make notice TSC something is wrong with them, plz share your experiences.
 
I Agree.Yesterday I went to the local USCIS center and asked the status of my I-485. The officer said its due to "Name Check" .Everything else is fine.She also said that there are numerous people like me waiting for the Name Check.
How can we track it ? I just sent an email yesterday to FBI about the status. Will give an update as soon as I hear from them.

Hi PKSVS,

Has your case been transferred to a local office ? Doesnt look like from your signature. Assuming u just showed up at the local office did the officer help looking up your application ? BTW which local office did u visit.

Interview in Charlotte Office

I had an interview in charlotte Office and every thing was ok except my Name check was not clear yet. I had my interview on 15th Nov 2004. and now I am waiting for name check, I do not know How long?????????

I have send email to FBI on fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov in month of Nov and still waiting for answer.

I think I am the oldest in this forum?

I just called FBI name check main line and was told that they are working on the email received between Oct 1 to 15. So whoeve have sent email regarding NAME CHECK have to wait for at least another 8-10 weeks.

I'm one of the unlucky, like many of you.

Didn't know there was a main line , thank you for sharing your info, is funny after waiting for TSC backlog , now we have to wait for FBI backlog.
 
USCIS, Kansas office...i was there to get interim EAD and asked the officer about my I-485.She was nice enough to tell me that my Name Check was pending.
