Voted NO against the "ammendment" with 85-14 (I think)

Don't worry now...the Amendment was to take out the whole section about recapturing visa numbers and not counting dependents towards the quota. The dangerous amendment was soundly rejected by the senate (and eventually the bill was passed without that amendment). So we could see a good jump in cutoff dates in the near future when this bill becomes law. For further reading, check out my post here:
