Wasted time trying to talk to IIO

I called the CSC number to enquire about my I-140 (amendment) pending since Feb12, 2001.
The IIO ( a white male) simply refused to give any info on my case, saying he would talk to
attorney or employer only. Then I requested him to update my address, which he \'did\' reluctantly
for each of applications like ead for self, ead for wife, 485s. He was asking me to repeat the same address
for each one of them, saying he cant remember. Often he would get the zip code wrong.
All the time he was giggling with someone, enjoying his \'work\' and the fun he was
having with some hopeless gc aspirant.

Our lawyers and employers almost never calls to check. My lawyer just told me to be patient and does nothing!

Anyway, how do you know that the IIO you spoke to was a "white male"? I guess you inferred through his accent. But it could be a US-born non-white too.

What is your WAC number? I am also waiting like you.. my rd is 3/7/2001 for
I-140 amendment. New JIT report for I-140 shows that they are processing
WAC-01-125 onwards. Mine is WAC-01-123 and no news so far. I am not sure
what is going on there..

Thanks

I-140 due to 485 RFE on a different queue?

Lax Man, my theory is that we\'re on a different queue. And with AC21 180 days field guidance out, I hope they approve us without the I-140 requirement.
