Last year I got my new H1 through company B whil still continuing to work for company A. After that I left USA came back on Company A H1, worked 2 weeks with company A and then changed my job to company B. Since then I have left USA and come back on company B H1 but I am not sure If I was out of status or not.
I heared if new H1 gets approved and you leave US and come back on old H1 at POE ur new H1 is invlid. Pls help.

2. Also, since I applied for my Labor my salary has gone up - is that going to be a problem during CP as my salary is more than the salary range shown on labor.

No to 1. Since you actually worked for A when you returned, you are fine. Your B\'s H1 is like an open offer for employment. You could join it anytime after its approval.

Yes to 2 :-) Like I tell everyone who posts this question, you need to send me the extra funds to make sure you dont have a problem...

No dude.. you are fine. Remember your company promises to pay you the prevailing wage or HIGHER at the time of GC grant. That said, a LC of 25K and a wage of 150K may seem suspicious but normal raises over the years are fine.

on Pt 1, infact u could enter on Company A\'s visa and start working for Company B too ... that is as per INS guidlines issued late last year or early this year ... u can do a search on some of the immigration websites, especially in the Q&A sessions ..

In your case u worked for company A after entering, so u are just fine ...

on pt 2. ... as per what Moulin said ..
