I am currently on H1B visa.
I recently got a speeding ticket, regarding which I had approached a lawyer to amend to a non-moving violation. The lawyer did not go to court on the court date and I recieved a letter saying "a warrant has been issued for your arrest". The lawyer got back to me and said that it an error by the court. When I call the court and punch in my speeding ticket number, I get a message that the court date has been postponed to a later date -because- of failure to appear at court.
Will this affect my green card ?
